Project Description
Ergo Group were engaged by Evolve Constructions to assist not-for-profit organisation Musica Viva with refurbishment and upgrades to their Zetland premises. The scope of works included the construction of a new black box recording studio and upgrades to incoming consumer mains to the building to comply with BCA. This involved street closures and close coordination with Ausgrid to bring new overhead incoming mains to the site. A new main switchboard was installed along with new distribution boards throughout and a new central communications room.
In addition, the building has operational mobile phone towers for both Optus and Telstra on the roof, which required close coordination with both carriers to complete the power upgrades with a minimum disruption to their services.
Ergo Group assisted with providing alternative lighting packages to value engineer the budget and cost-effective simple lighting controls that complied with relevant codes.
This project represents the pride that Ergo Group tradespeople have in their workmanship with all services exposed and installed in the ceiling with impeccable attention to detail.
