Project Description
Ergo Group were engaged to deliver the electrical works for this state-of-the-art facility at St George Hospital. The PET Scanner Clinic is a $3.5 million project providing Positron Emission Tomography (PET) for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients.
The scope of works included lighting controls, feature lighting, mechanical power upgrades, and body protection.
The project was funded by both public and private enterprises with the Gasnier Foundation created especially in 2011 with the sole purpose of raising funds for the implementation of the PET Scanner Clinic.
The works were carried out in a live, operational environment with no disruption to the hospital’s critical care services.
